The Succession of Changing Kings throws you right into the mess of running a kingdom that’s basically falling apart. What used to be a rich and thriving land is now just empty fields covered in weeds, trade has completely died, and all the smart people are packing their bags to leave.
So yeah, not exactly a dream job — but it is up to you to fix it. You’ll need to build up the kingdom again, hire the right people, and make some seriously tough calls that could make or break your rule. As king, you’ll be balancing relationships with four major groups — the nobles, the army, the church, and regular folks.
Keep in mind, if you mess up and make the wrong enemies, things can go really bad… like “off with your head” bad. Every choice you make has consequences, so whether you want to play as a ruthless ruler or a kind king, it’s totally up to you — but watch your back.
The game’s split into four acts, each with 25 turns — so you’ve got 100 turns total to prove you’re worthy of the crown. Every act has its own storyline, kinda like chapters in a book, leading up to you getting crowned (if you survive that long).
And get this — there are over 200 different quests and events in each act, and some you will not even see unless you play again. Oh, and if you thought ruling was safe? There are over 80 different ways for your king to die so yeah good luck staying alive while trying to save your kingdom.
