About PETRIFIED PAWNS

In this chess game, pieces don’t just disappear when attacked. Instead, they’ve got health bars, and you have to whittle them down before they go down for good. You can even heal your units to keep them in the fight longer.

It’s like chess, but with an RPG twist—way more tactical and way more intense. The classic pieces like kings, bishops, and rooks still move how you’d expect, but they handle the attacking themselves once they’re in range.

On top of that there are brand-new pieces to shake things up. The crossbow and warlock can fire from a distance, while the wolf and bear are beast units that get up close and personal, dealing heavy damage with their claws and fangs.

As you progress, you will find treasure—gold, potions, and weapons—to buff up your squad, gear up your units to boost their attack and defense. Before each level, you can recruit a new piece to your army, so picking the right mix is key.

If you want to dominate you will need to think about synergy and strategy, making sure your units complement each other. The goal? Keep your army alive as you fight through the dungeon. Use spells and potions to heal, and reposition your pieces to avoid getting wiped out. 

The game only saves after a level, and if a piece dies, it’s gone for good. So yeah, protecting your King is a must—lose him, and it’s game over.
