THREAT -SCREAM AND ESCAPE- offers a unique horror experience where your scream into the microphone is your only defense against the creatures chasing you. Use your “powerful screams” to stun them and help the protagonist, who awakens in a mysterious research facility, escape to freedom. Your scream is your only weapon.
The louder your scream, the more creatures you can stun, but as you progress, the required volume will increase. Mastering when to scream and when to conserve your voice, as well as how much power you can muster, will be key to survival. Scream louder and longer into your microphone. As long as your voice lasts, you’ll be safe. Just be mindful of your neighbors!
You can choose from three difficulty levels in the settings: NORMAL Mode is the standard mode, designed for average vocal strength, as intended by the developers. QUIET Mode responds to even soft voices, perfect for late-night sessions or quiet settings. STREAMER Mode is a challenging setting that requires full-on screaming. Only pick this if you’re ready to be loud.
You can adjust various sensitivity settings, such as camera movement, in the game’s settings. If the controls feel off, tweak them to your preference. Microphone sensitivity is fully adjustable. If the game feels too difficult or too easy, revisit these settings. If motion sickness occurs, you can disable the “Screen Shake” option in the settings. And remember to take breaks while playing!
