Part 1 of this amazing game was first released in April 2024, but Part 2 is a free update and is currently being prepared for release.
In “Koe (声),” you embark on a unique adventure as a high school exchange student in the quaint Japanese city of Sakurachou. This game is inspired by classic JRPGs and blends language learning with engaging narrative and gameplay.
Upon your arrival, you’ll settle into a seemingly ordinary life, attending school, making friends, and living with a homestay family. The discovery of a mysterious temple in the city leads to a transformative experience, transporting you to the fantastical world of Koe. In this parallel universe filled with cities, caves, and shrines, the Japanese language becomes more than a means of communication—it becomes your primary tool for interaction and defense.
As you venture through Koe, you’ll encounter battles where your command of Japanese words will directly influence your ability to attack, defend, and heal. All the words that you have learned are not mere vocabulary but powerful weapons and tools that aid you in your quest. Return to Sakurachou to learn new words and strengthen your linguistic abilities, enhancing your capabilities in the magical world.
The is arranged around the mysterious princess Fleur and her family, whose secrets are deeply intertwined with the peculiarities of Sakurachou and the world of Koe. All the words that you have learned will transform into items in your arsenal, crucial for combating the corruption threatening this world.
“Koe (声)” is designed to be a comprehensive introduction to the Japanese language, structured over the course of a full-length RPG. It is a collaborative development effort involving teams from Japan, the USA, and the UK. They aim to create a truly unique educational and entertaining experience. As you navigate through both worlds—learning about Japanese culture, and meeting a diverse cast of characters, some local and some from other dimensions—you’ll not only enhance your language skills but also engage in a rich, narrative-driven adventure where knowledge itself is your greatest weapon.
How to Download & Install Koe Part-1
- So, click on the download button available below and upon clicking it you will be taken to the website (PixelDrain) that hosts the pre-activated game file.
- However, there, you will find a download button click on it and the game will start downloading. Then wait for it to finish downloading. In some cases, there will be a timer so you will have to wait. After that, timer ends then you will have to click on the download button.
- Once the game Koe Part-1 is done downloading, go to the folder where the download is present, and from there right click the .zip file and click on “Extract the Game” (To do this you can use 7-Zip or WinRAR, which you can get here).
- Further, open the extracted folder and look for the game .exe application, after finding it right click on it and select run as administrator.
- After that, the game will start, and have fun and play it! So, remember, it is necessary to run the game as the administrator. Also, if you get any missing dll errors, then go to the Redist or _CommonRedist folder and install all the programs available in it.
