Gidou, the eccentric yet reliable head of the boys’ dorm, and Youji, a friend who often ends up with the tough tasks, round out this quirky circle of friends.
Shuu finds himself in a snow covered town surrounded by a massive wall known as the aurora, featuring stunning Europeanized architecture. Here, he is embraced by the residents and the students of St. Aria Academy leading a life full of art and camaraderie. However, his newfound peace shatters on Christmas when a mysterious fire nearly destroys the town. Yune, deeply connected to the town, decides to take matters into her hands by turning back time to December 2nd, the start of Advent, in a desperate bid to change their doomed fate.
But as they attempt to alter the past they keep spiraling back to the same devastating future, raising questions about the nature of their reality and the possibility of escaping this vicious cycle. What causes this destruction? And what is the Amazing Grace prophesized to arrive on Christmas? As they navigate through these repeating days, they begin to paint the truth of their town with their actions hoping to uncover the mysteries hidden in this never ending cycle.
