Noreya: The Gold Project is a dope 2D pixel art metroidvania game set in a dark fantasy world. In this game, you get to pick sides either stick with the Gods of Light and Shadow or go rogue with the gods of Corruption and Gold! But heads up every choice you make impacts your progress and opens up new paths and abilities.
The game is design is sick, making every run feel fresh and different. This whole dual thing compels you to explore both ways. In the game, Salluste, the God of Avarice, takes over the city of Lemia after locking up the Goddess of Light. Then comes Kali, a badass fighter who lost everything because of the gods. She explores claims about a new deity who is manipulating and dominating people with promises of wealth by traveling to the metropolis.
As you explore the city of gold and its cathedral you will face off against creatures of shadow and gold. You can pledge loyalty to a god to gain their powers or go your own way and deal with the anger of a god. The pixel art in this game is insanely detailed, bringing two unique worlds to life that change based on your allegiance to either the Path of Gold or the Path of Light.
The game is got a skill tree with over 50 abilities, 12 epic bosses you can take on in any order, and more than 25 unique monsters each with their own cool gameplay mechanics. The controls are easy to learn but tough to master, with smooth platforming and fast, dynamic gameplay. The combat is pixel perfect and accessible, leading to several possible endings.
The soundtrack by Sarys and Xavier Dang (MisterMV) is original and epic, evolving based on your allegiance. The storyline is scattered throughout the world; find all the steles to uncover the history and mysteries of the gods, though it is optional if you just want to focus on gameplay.
Each version of the world holds secrets and exclusive bonuses. Can you find all the hidden things? Only time will tell! Enjoy an original soundtrack by the incredible duo Sarys and MisterMV that changes with your allegiance.
Initially, we planned to include spiders in the game but realized many players were afraid of them. So we came up with an alternative that fits the underground vibe. Maybe one day the spiders of Noreya will be unleashed, but that is a story for another time.
How to Download & Install NOREYA: THE GOLD PROJECT
- So, click on the download button available below and upon clicking it you will be taken to the website (PixelDrain) that hosts the pre-activated game file.
- However, there you will find a download button click on it and the game will start downloading. Then wait for it to finish downloading. In some cases, there will be a timer so you will have to wait. After that timer ends then you will have to click on the download button.
- Once the game NOREYA: THE GOLD PROJECT is done downloading, go to the folder where the download is present, and from there right click the .zip file and click on “Extract the Game” (To do this you can use 7-Zip or WinRAR, which you can get here).
