In a not so distant future, countries are pouring money into scientific research to tackle food shortages. This leads to the discovery of new elements past the 119th. In Tokyo a scientist named Hikojuro Araki created Araraginium the 256th element which can generate life from nothing. But during the first experiment, an accident scatters Araraginium all over Tokyo.

These people called Araragi Humans, start popping up from the time of the accident to 72 hours before it happened. It is like they are coming back from the dead.

Meanwhile, a new Pacific miracle has emerged post Araraginium experiment, attracting tourists with its dense, mangrove like forests and surreal beauty.
