The Black Within is a single player 1st person psychological horror game. Laila Rose sells her own spirit for fame and fortune, but then has to face the consequences of her choices. It is a story of greed fear and change.
Set in 2007, you play as Laila Rose, a 38 years old failed musician who decides to sell her soul to the devil to gain fame and wealth. Despite her efforts in the music industry, Laila’s lack of talent and patience led her to a desperate move: contacting a famous record label manager named Arne Cheyenne.
Under Arne’s guidance, Laila descends into the void, embarking on a journey for fame and glory. But as the saying goes, in every action there is always an equal but opposite reaction, Laila soon discovers that her battle is more than just signing a contract it is a fight between fear and change pain and hope.
