About The Legacy
The Legacy is this co-op survival horror game that throws you into a super creepy, messed-up version of your hometown. The story kicks off back in 1990, when some ancient curse hits the place.
Your grandpa, who was this old-school Carpathian magician (a molfar, apparently), was supposed to sacrifice one of his grandkids to keep the dark forest forces happy. But he couldn’t do it. So instead, he sent you and your siblings away to Kyiv to save you. Good move for you, but it pretty much doomed the whole city and surrounding area.
Now it’s years later. You’re all grown up, living your own lives, but something about Svetlograd keeps haunting you. So during a family dinner — like, super casually — you and your siblings decide, “Screw it, let’s go back and end this curse for good.”
Each of you has your own abilities and weaknesses, and you basically make up this perfect little squad. So you grab some gear and head out to face whatever’s waiting for you in the ruins of your old home.
Surviving out there is no joke. You’ve got to deal with food, water, freezing temperatures, and the whole “it’s cold and haunted as hell” vibe of the Carpathian Mountains in autumn. You need to build fires, keep moving, or find shelter to not freeze your butt off at night.
Your stamina changes depending on your character and how heavy your backpack is. And yeah, chugging an energy drink can buy you some time, but it’s not a long-term solution.
Food is a constant grind. Sometimes you’ll find stuff at gas stations or abandoned houses, but other times, you’re straight-up fishing for carp or hunting wildlife just to cook a basic meal.
You can cook over a fire, in a cauldron, or if you’re fancy, an oven. Don’t ignore mushrooms and fruit either — every little bit helps when you’re trying not to starve.
How to Download & Install The Legacy
- So, click on the download button available below and upon clicking it you will be taken to the website (PixelDrain) that hosts the pre-activated game file.
- However, there you will find a download button click on it and the game will start downloading. Then wait for it to finish downloading. In some cases, there will be a timer so you will have to wait. After that timer ends then you will have to click on the download button.
- Once the game The Legacy is done downloading, go to the folder where the download is present, and from there right click the .zip file and click on “Extract the Game” (To do this you can use 7-Zip or WinRAR, which you can get here).
- Further, open the extracted folder and look for the game .exe application, after finding it right click on it and select run as administrator.
